Our cozy bed and breakfast is nestled in the heart of St. Peter-Ording. We offer the perfect getaway for travelers seeking relaxation and comfort.

Our small, non-smoking bed & breakfast has only 6 rooms and is perfect for a peaceful and relaxing stay. We are an allergy-friendly hotel, with no children under 12 or pets allowed. Our rooms are tastefully decorated and equipped with all the amenities you need for a comfortable stay, including comfortable beds, ensuite bathrooms and flatscreen Smart-TVs.

Our rooms are non-smoking single and double rooms, equipped with a safe for your valuables, private bathroom with shower and toilet, hairdryer, cosmetic mirror, windows and environmentally friendly amenities. For your entertainment, there is a modern flatscreen Smart-TV and free WiFi. All televisions are connected to our fast WiFi network and therefore offer you the option of streaming films and series. You can enjoy drinks from the chargeable minibar or make yourself a free tea or coffee with the electric kettle. Our beds are comfortable double beds with boxspring mattresses (each 90x200 cm each) and high-quality bed linen that guarantee you a restful sleep.

Terms and conditions

  • We are a non smoking hotel.

  • Check in: Your room is available on arrival from 1pm.

  • Check in is contactless. You take your room key from our key box, which you will find next to the front door. You will receive the code by email a few days before your arrival.

  • Car parking: Free car parking directly outside the house.

  • Children: Our house is not suitable for children under 12 years.

  • Pets: Pets are not allowed.

  • Cancellation policy: A free cancellation or modification of the reservation is up to 15 days before arrival. After that or in case of no-show, 80 percent of the total price of the reservation or modification will be charged.

  • Minimum Stay: Bookings are taken for a minimum duration. 

  • Accepted credit cards: American Express, Visa, Mastercard.

Enjoy regional & homemade

Start your vacation day with our rich and delicious breakfast with regional and homemade products. Try our homemade jams, our Bircher muesli made according to a Swiss recipe or our crispy rolls. Let our coffee machine spoil you with various coffee specialties. Our fairtrade coffee not only tastes good, it also does good. We serve you freshly prepared egg dishes in the morning, from eggs from happy hens from the Knoop organic farm in Mirebüll. Enjoy organic cheese from the Backensholzer organic farm and cold meat specialities from regional producers.

You can enjoy our “best” breakfast every day from 8am to 10:30am in our light-flooded breakfast room or, when the weather is good, on our sunny terrace with a view of the quiet garden.

Location in Sankt Peter-Ording

Our Hotel garni DünenNest is quietly located in a side street with no through traffic in the heart of St. Peter-Ording.

The following sights and places can be reached on foot:

  • Bus stop 250 meters

  • The “quiet village” with its typical Frisian thatched-roof cottages, small shops, cafes and restaurants is about 750 meters away, so about a 10-minute walk away

  • You can reach the North Sea dike after a 10-minute walk through the idyllic dune landscape.

  • the bathing area on the south beach is about 20 minutes walk away (you can also reach this with the free local bus that runs every hour)

  • the lively district of Bad with the pier, event center, leisure and adventure pool "Dünen-Therme" is 2 km away, so about 25 minutes walk (or just 5 minutes with the free local bus)

  • You can store your bicycles in our open bicycle shed (to the right of the house)

  • To give you a flexible and stress-free start to your vacation, we offer you a contactless check-in!

Online Check-in

For your contactless check-in, you will receive an email a few days before your arrival with the following information about your arrival:

  • Your link to the digital registration form

  • Your PIN for the key box (which you will find to the left of the entrance door) from which you can take your room key

FAQ

  • Yes, our parking spaces are available free of charge to all our guests – even those who arrive a little earlier.

  • The rooms are guaranteed to be ready from 1pm.

  • From 8am to 10:30am we spoil you with our extensive breakfast buffet.

  • Yes, we have a shelter to the right of the house where you can lock your bikes.

  • No, we are a breakfast only hotel.

  • You will receive a charging card at reception, which you need to activate the electric charging station which is located directly in front of the house.

    On your departure, the used electricity will be charged directly to your room invoice.
